This boy is what Fields are
all about! He is the apple of his owners’
eyes and I don’t blame them. As a favorite
visitor for the residences of an assistive
living apartment complex, Blaze's
outstanding temperament comes shining
through every time. So whether it’s sleeping
at his dad’s feet or bringing a smile to
someone’s face Blaze is what it is all
about!
Blaze was the pick male in our 2007 litter.
With his beautiful front, fantastic rear and
level top line he had all the makings of a
top show boy. However his personality &
temperament prove to be the perfect match
for the for the Stube family- who had no
interest in showing dogs. So after much soul
searching it was decided to let Blaze go
home with the Stube family and he would be
shown on a part time basis by me. I don't
regret my decision as Blaze is the perfect
match for his family and we couldn't imagine
him being anywhere else.
In 2009
Blaze once again starting hitting the show
ring. Although he got off to a rough start
due to the lack of ring experience in a few
short months he was acting like a pro. The
judges love his out-going tail wagging happy
boy attitude. In limited showing Blaze
picked up a few more point and a couple of
Best of Breed.
Blaze finished his Championship on November
21, 2009 by going Best of Winners and Best
of Breed over a ranked special. Blaze has
earned multiple Best of Breeds in his quest
for his Championship.
About the name: Keme Minooka
is a combination of two Indian words.
Keme = Secret
Minooka = good/high land
07-30-07 This past weekend Blaze went to
his first show in Waukesha Wi. Blaze acted
like a pro despite this being his first time
ever in the ring with no prior training. We
were all extremely proud when he gaited away
with Best in Puppy
Sweeps! Thank you Kristy Hill for handling
Blaze! Blaze then went to compete in the
regular classes. He was simply unstoppable
first winning the Bred by Exhibitor class and went on
to take Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for
a 5 point major. This was a
supported entry show with a HUGE entry! I am
so proud of my boy and I am so appreciative
of his wonderful owners that have done such
a great job of socializing and taking care
of him!
1-21-08 So what has Blaze been up to?
Well in 2007 Blaze was shown a total of 3
times. When I say limited showing we mean
limited. As Blaze live 5 hours away and I
was expecting my first child it was not a
priority to get him out into the show ring
last year. Blaze is maturing into a lovely
boy and maintains his soft and sweet
personality. His owners continue to be
smitten by their lovely boy. Blaze is a much
loved family member who enjoys accompanying
Don in his travels and on his daily hour
long walks.
11-07-08 Blaze walks with a 4 point
major & takes Best of Opposite, Best of
Winners. He also earned his 1st rally novice
leg. We were VERY proud of the 4 point major
as Blaze had to beat out a top specials with
a handler to take the Best of Opposite. Not
bad for a boy that I steal on the weekends!
Blaze will be taking the winter off showing
so.......
