~Rae~
Rae is a lovely girl that
we are honored to be able to co-own with her
breeder/owner Sharon Deputy. Sharon was brave enough
to take a chance and use our boy Luka on one of her
girls. The end result was 5 beautiful puppies with
some of the most outstanding temperaments! All the
pups were extremely out-going, social and friendly.
Sharon was very pleased with the pups and in the end
she decided to keep the one and only girl in the
litter and named her Rae. Sharon was then gracious
enough to ask us to co-own Rae with her. I couldn't
of been happier as this sweet girl has so many
things going for her!
We had the pleasure of
stealing Rae for a few weeks and what a fun gal she
turned out to be! Rae settled into the household
routine with ease and that solid temperament really
shown. Even with having two very young children
around her tail never stopped wagging. Rae has a
curious nature about her and a fear nothing
attitude. Screaming kids, barking dogs and frequent
outings were all taken in stride!
I got the chance to take
this girl out into the field to see if she had any
potential as a hunting dog and all we can say is
WOW! Rae is dynamite in the field. At 13 weeks she
was chasing the birds down and retrieving them to
hand. She has a wonderful soft mouth coupled with a
wonderful bold enthusiasm. My hunt trainers wanted
to keep this spunky girl and suggested that I send a
cocker back to Sharon instead.
Rae is currently living
with Sharon and is being trained in both hunting and
agility. She will also be shown to her AKC
championship once she has time to grow up. We may be
kidnapping Rae in the future just for fun...so keep
your eyes peeled as you never know where this girl
may show up next!
