Baron-
Oh those black boys tend to be something else. Baron was the sleeper puppy in the litter and in the last few weeks prior to the 8 he started catching everyone's eye. Baron was a nice big bone puppy with that was just well balanced. His best attribute was his amazing temperament and desire to work.
I was really tempted to keep Baron as he was very birdy and had such a strong retrieve instinct. He also just loved to work- all trademarks I love to see in a field spaniel. I fought off the temptation and opted to see if there was any interest in this lovely black boy and I was thrilled I soon had a few people interested in him!
In the end we decided to spend Baron home with Lori Carver- a long time field spaniel breeder and enthusiast. She loved Baron's pedigree as it went back to some of the dogs she really loved. She also felt Baron could contribute to her breeding program as well. Baron is also co-owned with Dorothy O'Neil another long time field spaniel breeder. We are honored that they saw the potential in Baron and wanted to bring him home to be part of their kennel.
Baron is growing up to be quite the beautiful show boy. He loves to show and enjoys being the center of attention. He already has a few puppy group wins and a Best Puppy in show under his belt and we look forward to what the future may hold for this lovely boy!
