This fabulous boy is a littermate to our gorgeous Apollo and Panda. Chester's owners are new to the dog performance world and as they are local we decided to introduce them to some of the sports that AKC has to offer. Well from the get go Chester loved diving off the pier at their lakeside cottage so Dock diving was a natural choice for them to try.
Well at their very first weekend out they earned the Dock Diving Novice title and I do believe they are now hooked! They have also tried lure coursing and are thinking about giving barn hunt a try as well. Whatever game they decide to do I am beyond happy that yet another person has found this fantastic world of competing and doing fun stuff with your dog. Getting titles is not just about ribbons, placements and competing. Its about building that bond of a working relationship with your dog and giving your dog a purpose. Its also about having fun with the entire family.
I look forward to seeing Chester and his family participating in more sports and I hope they continue to enjoy the performance world as much as my family has.
