Davos
I tried to sell him as a puppy- honestly, I did. However sometimes fate intervenes and here we are. I am the proud owner of a Wookie named Davos. Well, he is also shared with a bunch of other folks because when you are a big wooly mammoth there is plenty of love to share.
As the puppies were heading home, we had a yodeler. I can't stand noisy dogs as I kept hoping that the puppy that was always yelling for me was eventually going home. Slowly one by one the puppies left and there was the Wookie yodeling. Oh Boy. The first home backed out at the last moment as they had life changes. That's ok I offered him to a few other people. No go. So, he started to grow on me, like a fungus. (I am joking folks- settle down.) I realized he needed to stay- or perhaps I just lost my mind.
Anyways by about 10 weeks I was attached to this big lug. The other thing is he kept getting nicer and nicer structure wise. I normally don't keep boys. I already had kept a boy from another litter and well yep here we are...another boy, another D name.... him is staying.
So, at 9 months we decided to enter him at the prestigious American Spaniel Club show. Not sure what I was thinking as well Davos is a rambunctious puppy and his first show with zero experience, no classes and no mom. Oh, this was going to be interesting. Well, the baby Wookie didn't disappoint. Despite his puppy antics he strutted away with a Best In Sweeps and two best of winners securing his 2 majors with ease. So I guess we have a show worthy Wookie.
Davos will be bounced around the country sharing his Wookie love. Check back often to see what the yodeler is up to.
