Maiko is the long awaited Mai Tye daughter (Mai Tye's first two litters were ALL BOYS!)
I became smitten with Maiko from the moment she was born and people even commented that I couldn't have possibly picked which puppy was staying on the first day! Well the purple girl was my favorite and when the time to decide who was staying this was a no brainer! This amazing girl was the total package! Maiko is a beautiful girl with a ton of substance and breed type- She has an incredible out-going nature about her and just LOVES people-

Maiko has been an amazing show girl since the beginning. Her very first show at 6 months she went Best of opposite over the bitch specials for a 4 point major. Her winning streak continued at the 2013 National where she was Reserve Winnings Bitch to her sister for a 3 point major, Best Bred By and also was award Best of Winners the next day for a 5 point major. The next two Nationals did not disappoint either. In 2014 she was Bitch Select at both the National and the trailer show the very next day. The 2015 National she earned an AOM and the following trailer shows she took an impressive Best of Breed, Group One and became the first field spaniel bitch to win Reserve Best In Show!

In early 2017 Maiko joined professional handlers Clint and Karen Livingston on the show circuit. Maiko wsd shown on a limited basis and with NO ADVERTISING. In her short time with Clint and Karen she won the Sporting group multiple times and was the #2 Field Spaniel for All Breed. We are beyond thrilled with the success she has had so far and we look forward to what the rest of the year will bring!      

In 2018 Maiko took the show ring by storm! She started off the year with her first All Breed Best in Show win. She continued her winning ways and added 4 Reserve Best In Shows to her impressive record. In September of 2018 Maiko and Karen once again walked with top honors by winning the largest Field Spaniel National on record with over 200 Field Spaniels entered! After her Best In National Specialty win, Maiko continued her winning ways by winning Best of Breed at 2 of the 3 trailer shows! 
Maiko ended the 2018 show year with being the number 1 Field Spaniel in breed and all breed, National Specialty winner, 4 reserve Best in Shows, 1 All breed best in show AND she set a new record for the most Field Spaniels defeated in a year!

Maiko is now taking a break from the show scene to focus back on performance! Look for Maiko is the performance venues in 2019!
