Small and mighty with a big dash of YAHOO sums up this little package of dynamite. You see I had already decided on keeping her sister but that little yellow girl in the litter had other plans. She kept insisting she needed to stay. She was smaller than the other girls but still had really nice structure. As the weeks went on this girl made sure she caught my attention in various ways. She was fearless, she wanted to work nonstop and most of all- she kept reminding me of her very beloved Great Grandmother Mai Tye.
Mai Tye was beyond special and there was just something about this girl that kept reminding me of what I was missing in my life. So, despite my better judgement little Miss Sunshine ended up staying.
Tavi is about doing performance. Her speed is always super-fast. She loves the contact equipment in agility, she will retrieve nonstop, and she LOVES to work. Tavi is being started in all performance venues and we shall see how things progress as this little lass grows up!
SO in 2023 Caleb really wanted to go to the FSSA National Specialty. As I wanted him to succeed we opted to try him with the various puppies and he really liked the way Tavi worked for him. (wait a minute that is MY girl). Well the two of them started practicing showing and performance work together and goodness they are making for a great team.
Tavi has been exclusively handled to all her wins by Caleb from the bred by class. Caleb also shows her in Juniors and they were awarded Best Junior Handler at the FRFSC Specialty. In addition, Caleb has handled Tavi to her CGC and fast cat wins. So look for these two in a ring near you, I however will be on the sidelines cheering him and Tavi on and muttering- yeah that's my dog that he stole.
