We are proud to be introducing our handsome young man that simply loves everyone he meets. With his bold outgoing attitude and zest for life we are sure he will follow in his mother's footsteps to be an all round do it all Killara kid. Wyatt has a social and outgoing temperament. He is wonderful with people and all other animals as well.
Wyatt continues to strive forward with his hunt training. Wyatt easily earned the Junior Hunt title and impressed the judges with his bird finding abilities. We call him the 5 min test dog- He is on and off the field pretty quickly as he never passes a bird! Wyatt spent the summer of 2014 at Salmy Kennels with pro trainer Mike Wallace. He is now working at the Master level- he is learning the blind retrieves and to take direction at a distance. He stays focused on his fly away birds and has just a great natural ability to mark them as they fall. We look forward to spending more time in the fields training him as we plan on pursing a few more hunt titles with him!
On the Agility front Wyatt is proving to be a natural. He races through his 12 channel weave set with lightening speed. He already is confidently doing the teeter, dog walk and A-Frame and we are working on hitting the contact zones. He especially loves zipping through the tunnels! He is still working on his jumping skills which we just started recently- so it will be a while before we are ready to hit the agility ring- but we are having fun training him.
Wyatt hit the show ring in 2013 at around 2 years old. During 2013 Wyatt earned 4 majors, one at and FSSA Supported entry Best of Winners and another was Best of Breed win over ranked specials! He finished his championship in the fall of 2013 and we will now focus our attention on performance!
Over-all Wyatt is just my fun baby boy that is a blast to be around. From his silly antics to constant requests for me to "throw the ball mom". He is just an all around good old boy that is the perfect family companion!
